Mine and Kirsty's baby Mia was born on Wednesday 19 April 2006, weighing in at 7lb 15oz. Pictures are here. Also added to the gallery recently are pictures of Kirsty's 19th birthday.

Just posted some ultrasound scans of mine and Kirsty's new baby. Also some scans of Grace in there too.

It was Adam Hart's 24th birthday recently, and we went drinking to celebrate. We were also celebrating Peter Harris's birthday, and Jack Raymond's in absentia.

Visited the Costa del Sol. Took plenty of pictures of the market in Fuengirola, Ronda and Puerto Ban?s amongst others.

Well another year, another Curry Challenge. This time it was Robs turn to host the prestigious international tournament, which saw competitors in the field of Eating Really Hot Curry With Really Hot Chilli Sauce In battling it out over five rounds, for the privilege of being named Curry Conquistador. Luckily, I was on hand to take many embarrassing pictures, for your viewing pleasure.

Went round to Rob's last Saturday to hang out. Took some pictures and a short video.
In other news, this site is down to #2 when searching google for alex dekker. Must be because I haven't updated it in a while.

Was Smithy's birthday party on Saturday, and I took some pictures thereof. Also, went to Saltwell Park and took pictures there too.

Was Kirsty's 18th recently. Pictures here.

Went to the Beer Festival at Newcastle University Student Union organised by CAMRA. Took some pictures. Drank some really nasty cider, that has inspired me to brew my own.

Started a new photo project: Co-Operative architecture of the late 19th and early 20th century in the North East of England.

Was Fitzy's birthday last week. We went out on the Quayside [Quilted Camel, Crown Posada] and made merry. I took some pictures too.

Took some pictures of Laura Dekker's pottery for her portfolio, and I've uploaded them here for posterity. Have a gander.

P+D on top form as ever. Forgot my camera though. If I have any criticisms, it would be that they took pot shots at too many people to make a coherent point. Although maybe they're just aiming for the middle ground. Look out for them in your town soon.

I hope ICANN passes the .xxx domains, cos I want to register ale.xxx! It's not going to be adult content, but I still think it will be funny. Peter Harris should register harr.is before someone else does. .IS is the domain for Iceland, .CX is the domain for Christmas Island.

Had to reboot the server and most of the site's database has been 'lost'. I've still got the data but it's not readable at the moment. If I find a way to get all the old content back in, I'll do it.

I've got a blog. I bet they've just gone out of fashion.
